Joshua Tree feels of a Dr. Seuss creation majestically sprung to life, something to absurd to exist- trees contorted in arid death-like constructions, rocks eroded into both jagged crags and undulating organic forms. Logic might suggest that this environment would have beaten any life out eons ago, yet here it thrives.
